All students must adhere to our dress code. Proper dress ensures that every student is ready for class as part of the Motion Arts community, and encourages a sense of responsibility and professionalism. Ballet – Any color leotard, tights; ballet shoes in pink or a shade that matches skin tone. Optional skirt. Hair must be in a bun.
Pre-Dance – Any color leotard and footless tights. Bare feet.
Modern/Contemporary/Creative Movement – Any color leotard and footless tights or leggings. Bare feet.
Jazz/Jumps and Turns – Any color leotard, leggings, or jazz pants. Black jazz shoes.
Boys – A close fitting t-shirt, jazz pants, and appropriate footwear. No sweatpants or basketball shorts.
All Classes: Please leave large jewelry at home. Chewing gum, cell phones, and drinks other than water are not permitted in the classroom. Students’ legs must be covered to allow for safe floorwork.
